![]() First and foremost, she is sitting completely unassisted and is able to maneuver herself by swinging her legs to reach for whatever toys may be lying about. She has been spending every night, all night in her room and sleeping for a 12 hour strech(usually 7-7, occasionally 8-8). The 12 hour stretch thing has been going on for quite sometime actually, I am just not sure that I mentioned it here. I introduced Julia to a cup today and she drank from it by herself after me showing her what to do only once. She loved the diluted apple juice which I put in it, which was also a first. Julia is the happiest baby. She smiles constantly and just adores her sisters, Katherine in particular. The adoration is mutual on all sides and I love watching the 3 of them together. Here are a few pictures...
This was yesterday. I fed her her breakfast in her chair and when she was done, she was playing happily. So, I left her in it and cleaned the kitchen. I looked back at her and that was how I found her. So. Damn. Cute.
Having a grand time in her exersaucer.
Her beautiful "new room" complete with her John Lennon crib set.
Drinking from a cup...and drinking juice for the first time. |
